Made on the wheel in stoneware clay, base with a gallery and lid thrown off the hump. Turned and ball feet added to the base, fish handle modelled on the lid, then individual fish added in relief to the base. Slip
applied to the green/blue areas and cobalt oxide detail added before the first firing. Glazed and fired to 1280 C in an electric kiln.
