After evening classes in the 70s Fiona kept potting as her main leisure activity while working in tourism and construction, and having four daughters.  The last 15 years have seen her concentrating on making and selling, taking over the Creative Gallery in Wareham, Dorset in 2013.  She works in stoneware clay, making functional, decorated pottery which is fired in an electric kiln.  Work evolves gradually, new items being introduced for particular exhibitions and commissions.  The magic of working with clay endures.  Transforming soft clay into a durable item which can be used in the home for the preparation and serving of delicious food is endlessly pleasing.
