Caroline graduated from Bournemouth University in 2010 with a First Class Honours degree in Applied Art and Design, she began working in her chosen medium of anodised aluminium in 2007.

She hand prints with her own unique designs cut into small printing blocks using a lino cutter.  She then dyes using industrial anodising dyes and powder paints to vibrant effect to create a range of contemporary jewellery

She takes her inspiration from a broad number of sources.  The jewellery collection she has been developing over the past few years continues to grow, following inspiration from recent trips to Cambridge to teach jewellery making, where caroline was able to visit the collections at the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology and become inspired by costumes and jewellery from Africa, North and South America and Indonesia.

Travel around the UK and abroad has a big impact on C’s colour choices, regular trips to Devon and Cornwall to walk the coast path and surf encourage her to play with light, shade , greens and blues.  Also a recent trip to Monet’s Garden inspired hot pinks and purples.
